About the UA

The University of Alicante is a public university located on the Mediterranean coast. Because of its historical influences, excellent location and magnificent connections, it is a diverse-oriented and welcoming university with one of the best campuses in Spain, not only in terms of infrastructure, but also in terms of landscaping, sustainability and gender equality.

The University has a modern campus of one square kilometer.

How to get to University of Alicante and Villa Universitaria from the city centre?

By tram

Take the line 2 direction Sant Vicent del Raspeig at the station Alicante-Luceros and stop at Universitat.

The trip takes 26 minutes.

By train

Line C-3 Renfe Commuter Train service connects the city of Alicante with the University within approximately 9 minutes. There are trains every 55 to 65 minutes from Monday to Friday.

Users of this line have access to the Shuttle Service offered for free by the University. These shuttle buses connect the Line C-3 stop (Universidad de Alicante) with the campus area, where the Research Technical Services building is located, and with the University at the Bosque Ilustrado stop.

By bus

The bus line 24 connects the city and
San Vicent Campus.
